A new fare for Aeroexpress trains to be introduced on April 10

Sep 4, 2010

Starting from April 10, 2010, LLC Aeroexpress introduces a new fare of 300 rubles for high speed passenger trains travelling between the center of Moscow and its main airports.

The full (adult) fare for an electric train to/from Vnukovo, Domodedovo and Sheremetyevo Airports will cost 300 rubles, while the child's ticket (for children from 5 to 7) will cost 100 rubles. Children under 5 travel for free.

However, passengers can still travel at the old price of 250 rubles. To do so, they have to buy a ticket on the company’s web-site in advance (more than 30 days ahead). Those who bought an e-ticket before April 10th can travel at the old price through to May 15th.

Despite the general change in the fares, LLC Aeroexpress keeps benefits for some special groups of citizens. Beneficiaries of federal and regional social services (residing in Moscow) can still enjoy the special-rate fare if they present supporting documents at an Aeroexpress ticket office.

To travel by Aeroexpresses, passengers can purchase season tickets and use special-rate FamilyRound trip or Metro+ packages or also order a free Personal Assistant service to arrange the accompainment of passengers with restricted mobility.
