Aeroexpress will take part in opening ceremony to start charitable project “Kind Hands of People on Earth”

Mar 10, 2010

An opening ceremony to start a large-scale project “Kind Hands of People on Earth”, whose goal is to draw public attention to the problems of seriously ill children and charity in Russia in general, will take place in Sheremetyevo Airport’s Terminal D on March 18, 2010.

The organizers of the event include: Life Line – a charity saving seriously ill children, Terminal Art – an art gallery, OJSC Promsvyazbank and LLC Aeroexpress.

A monumental panel, of which passengers expecting or leaving their train in Terminal D will be able to make an object of art for a charity auction by leaving a color handprint, will be installed in one of the halls in the new terminal. The more people will take part in the event, the more colorful canvases with prints of “Kind Hands of People on Earth” will be created. These canvases are planned to be exhibited in Russia’s and world’s leading airports with new handprints being left on them. In future, they will be put up for a charity auction, and all the funds raised will go to the Life Line charity to support high-tech operations on critically ill children. In a creative way, the “Kind Hands of People on Earth” project aims to encourage people to do good together.

We are convinced that the project will not only draw public scrutiny to the problems of seriously ill children and charity in general, it will also help raise the prestige of our country in the world arena.

After the official launch of the project, all the visitors will be offered to participate in the artistic part of the event, becoming the first to leave their handprints on canvases and thus making their own contribution in the history of the project.
