The new hotel is located on the fifth floor of the Aeroexpress railway terminal complex in the immediate vicinity of Sheremetyevo-2, D and E terminals.

The hotels of the kind are new for Russia. They are designed to combine features like availability, comfort, affordability and security. The Air Express project has been worked out along the lines of development trends of the European capsule hotels, and unlike Japanese capsule hotels, where the rooms are really capsules, the Russian version has rooms more like cabins of up-to-date passenger cruise liner.

The hotel has 66 compact rooms of the economy, business and first class. Despite the small area (from 7.5 to 22 square meters), they are all fitted with the necessities, including a personal WC, a telephone, Internet access, and advanced security system with electronic keys programmed for every client. Every room has a set of bed linen and towels. The hotel guests can order a wake-up call and get a discount card for meals in the cafes and restaurants of the terminal.

The hotel is primarily designed for transit passengers with four to seven hours of spare time between flights. Those late for a flight or waiting for delayed flights can also use the hotel services.

The hotel has advantageous location in the Aeroexpress terminal with all the necessary infrastructure available, including cafes, restaurants and shops. Almost every 30 minutes a sophisticated high-speed train departs the Aeroexpress terminal to get passengers to the Moscow center (Belorussky Railway Station) in 35 minutes.

The hotel price policy is based on passengers’ demands with a fixed payment for four hours and further by-the-hour rent. Zemfira Yunusova, the V Express hotel director said that  “the new hotel is intended for those needing a short-time rest and unwilling to pay for services and time they do not use”.

The V Express capsule hotel is made to provide affordable comfort of a new format.
