Guidelines for Using the Biometric Payment System at Aeroexpress LLC Turnstiles

General Service Description

The biometric payment system makes it possible for passengers to pay for their ride via facial recognition.

How to start using the service

To use the biometric payment system, add your biometric data, bank card credentials, and Troika card to your Moscow Metro app personal account and give consent to use this payment method. We recommend registering in advance, as data can take up to 1 hour to be registered.

Attention! The passengers that have previously registered for the biometric payment system in the Moscow Metro app do not need to register again.

The service can be used when going through a special branded turnstile. When going through, please stop and look into the camera at the turnstile. After identification, the money for the ride will be deducted from bank card in the user’s Moscow Metro app personal account automatically, and the turnstile gates will open.

Special Features of the Biometric Payment System

This service is available for standard class rides only.

You may go through again in 1 minute.

When riding to/from the airport from/to MCD-1 stations just tap the bank card you’ve added to the biometric payment service in the Moscow Metro app on the turnstile when passing through.

Biometric payment when heading to Domodedovo and Vnukovo is available when riding between Paveletsky Railway Station and Domodedovo Airport, and between Kievsky Railway Station and Vnukovo Airport only.

Getting a receipt

If you need a receipt, submit an application via the feedback form on aeroexpress.ru in the E-Ticket Technical Support section. Give Biometric Payment System as your payment method, and a bank operation slip or a bank notification for this transaction should be attached.
